The Full Cost of One Sponsorship

$2,000 covers everything one local middle school student needs for a week-long educational overnight camp experience: program tuition, transportation, and required essentials.

$1,500: Camp Tuition

Tuition is the largest single cost. It covers the student's place in the week-long educational overnight camp program, including instruction, lodging, and meals provided by the camp.

$500: Transportation and Essentials

Many families can say yes to tuition help but still cannot cover travel and supplies. This portion funds transportation to and from camp plus the packing-list essentials a student is required to bring.

The 100% Student-Cost Promise

For this campaign, 100% of public donations to the fund go directly to student camp tuition, transportation, and essentials. Guiding Wave Foundation covers administrative costs separately.

What the Match Adds

Donations are matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000. A $1,000 gift can become $2,000 in campaign support, enough to fully sponsor one student when matched.

How Progress Is Reported

As sponsorships are funded, Guiding Wave reports match dollars applied, sponsorships completed, and county-level reach on the campaign updates page while protecting student privacy.
